Job Description:
Foothills Bible Church desires to have a Worship Director who is pastorally-minded, equips the worship team, and is engaged in the life of the church. They are looking for someone who not only prepares for and leads rehearsals and services, but one who will pastor the worship team and create a culture of empowerment, developing skills and spiritual growth. They want someone to help shepherd the congregation as they enter into worship, connecting songs with Scripture, prayer, and authentic expression and connection with God.
FBC wants to hire someone who will creatively shape the worship service, valuing the elements that work well while providing creative ways of engaging with God and one another.
The Worship Director will need to enjoy fun, be a leader of leaders, and engage in the staff culture.
Shawn Peterson, the Lead Pastor, values having a trusting, collaborative relationship with the Worship Director, working together along with the Ministry Leadership Team to direct key ministry strategies and goals.
They are open to hiring a woman for this role.
