Real Life Spokane is a steadily growing non-denominational Evangelical church in northern Spokane and is one of nearly 30 “Real Life” churches in the Pacific Northwest, which function as a relational network. They are running 700-750 on Sunday mornings with great financial stability and in 2024 will begin a multi-million dollar renovation that will significantly expand their sanctuary and upgrade their facilities.
Job Description:
“Reaching the world for Jesus one person at a time,” is the mission of Real Life Spokane, and it’s exactly what they’re about: intentional relational evangelism and one-on-one discipleship. Their three Sunday morning services are passionate, community-oriented, and gospel-centered. Many of their members were drawn to Real Life Spokane because of their welcoming atmosphere and have made it home because of their collective pursuit of Jesus through authentic community.
The worship ministry at Real Life has a solid foundation of volunteers and is now looking for a wise strategic leader with a passion for one-on-one discipleship and a commitment to musical excellence. The pastoral staff and elders are fully committed to a growing and thriving worship culture that draws the congregation into deeper communion with Jesus.
Spokane has the feel of a mid-size Midwestern city located in eastern Washington. While there are multiple colleges within the city limits, it is by no means a “college town.” Real Life is a diverse community with three growing demographics: college students, young families, and retirees. It’s a great place to raise a family with all the amenities of city-life and plenty of outdoor recreation within a short distance.
