We Can Help
Our alumni lead from a place of depth, skill, and compassion — formed in Christ, rooted in relationship, and equipped for ministry in the local church. They skillfully tend to God’s people and bear witness to His works through faithful worship in their congregations.
Unfortunately, most Worship Pastors have not been equipped the way other pastors have, so they find themselves doing ministry using the ways, rhythms, and metrics of the world. This can lead to unnecessary exhaustion, discouragement, competitiveness, and burn out. In the worst cases, it leads down a path of performance and unhealth that can affect entire communities. Worship Pastors are particularly susceptible to this because many of them find their way into the role due to their musical competency and love for Jesus, not their spiritual maturity, biblical knowledge, or discipleship skills.
But there is another way.
At 10KFAM, we love to come alongside Worship Leaders and provide space for deep community and belonging with others who know exactly the kinds of challenges you’re facing in life and ministry. Whether you’re a volunteer in your worship ministry, hoping to become a full time Worship Leader, or have been on staff at a church for decades, we want to see you flourish in your calling and learn to invest in those around you so they can do the same. 10KFAM Worship School in Colorado Springs is uniquely positioned to journey with worship leaders for a highly intentional season of deep relationship, coaching, accountability, and growth. What we repeatedly hear from our alumni is that even beyond the 18-months of purposeful investment, practical instruction, and profound life change, they walked away with a community they never expected.
The icing on the cake? Our program counts as Master’s level credit with Northern Seminary. When students graduate from 10KFAM, they have completed 1/3 of a Master of Arts in Worship degree!

How It Works
The Worship School is designed to be completed in three, six-month Tracks (and requires no relocation!). Each Track begins with a five day Intensive in Colorado Springs and is followed by six months of weekly coaching that happens in online Huddles. We also offer a fully online version of the school for those who can’t travel to Intensives. Our weekly huddle workload is designed with a full-time job and/or family in mind.
During the onsite Intensives, we spend five days together in an immersive experience where we focus on what we’ll be working through for the next six months via the online Huddle. We have designed our Intensives to give you great teaching, great community and great food. Hospitality is an essential aspect of life and living out worship. So, we invite you into our homes and our hearts for this journey. We begin each Intensive by having dinner on the first day, and we finish before lunch on the last.

Note: We do currently have a minimum age requirement of 20 years old in order to apply for Worship School.

Track 1 focuses on character, spiritual formation, and biblical interpretation. Track 2 focuses on competence, communication, and pastoral skills, as well as songwriting. Track 3 focuses on commissioning students with practical discipleship training so they are equipped to build culture and community in their own context. Tuition for each Track is $3,000. This includes lodging, meals, and activities at the Intensive as well as the six months of weekly online Huddles that follow once students return home.
Classes range in size, with as few as 8, and as many as 20 people. Your coaching Huddle will be approximately 5-9 people. We intentionally keep classes small so that each student gets as much time as possible with our team.

Our Intensives are held approximately every 6 months – once in the spring, once in the fall. Tracks 1, 2, and 3 are all held during the same week so students have the opportunity to interact with those in other Tracks between sessions and at meals.
Tuition
$3,000/Track
Tuition incudes ALL housing, meals, and transportation during the Intensive, as well as the 6 months of Coaching! Many churches are willing to help or fully fund their worship leader’s tuition. Interest free payment plans are also available. Student is responsible for their own flight cost if necessary.

The Intensive weeks are held onsite in Colorado Springs, CO and followed by six months of weekly coaching in online Huddles once students return home.
Our commitment to the well-rounded training and education of Worship Pastors in particular has led to the formation of a unique partnership with Northern Seminary. Students’ time at 10,000 Fathers & Mothers Worship School counts towards Master’s degree credits at Northern. Visit our Degree Programs page for more information.
Travel & Accommodations: Students are responsible for travel to and from the Intensive. We will provide local ground transportation, accommodations, and meals throughout the Intensive week.
